A Frank Buckles tribute, rest in peace-

Frank Buckles, the name caught my attention on NPR earlier this month, what a great name! Who was this? Wow!! His 110th birthday was on February 1, he was born in 1901. The last American WWI veteran. I have been thinking a lot about all of our veterans, the young and the old. Today people all over the world (Libya, Egypt and Tunisia…) are fighting for freedom, just like he did. I hope all the veterans everywhere get the respect and love that Mr. Buckles seemed to enjoy in his last years. Todays portrait a day is in tribute to him, and the legacy he leaves behind. Would my children be like this? Would any of their friends? Would they lie about their age to serve their country? Endure a prison camp? So please everyone, look his story up, share it with the children in your life!

[...]Definitely believe that which you said. Your favorite reason seemed to be on the internet the easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people consider worries that they just do not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks[...]…
