This plein air painting was done at Labrador Mountain Ski Area in Central New York. The day was perfection with bluebird skies and warm sun! This painting was done with a combination of brush and palette knife to give a variety of textures to the surface. I almost got knocked down by a snowboarder who wanted to see what I was doing! Thankfully he fell just before he collided into my easel!
